Nick Hamm’s ‘Driven’ selection as the closing film of the Venice Film Festival, one of the world’s top international film festivals, is an enormous honor. We are therefore very excited to share that this year’s Venice Film Festival will culminate in the premiere of RMG client Nick Hamm’s upcoming film Driven.

The film is inspired by the true story of the FBI sting operation to bring down maverick auto executive John DeLorean. Set in the opulence of early 1980s California, it follows the meteoric rise of DeLorean and his iconic DeLorean Motor Company; his friendship with a charming ex-con-turned-informant, Jim Hoffman; and the drug scandal that brought DeLorean low. The film is described as a wickedly comedic look at a bromance gone bad.

Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Hobbit) stars as automotive engineer and designer DeLorean. Jason Sudeikis (Downsizing) plays Hoffman. Judy Greer (Ant-Man) stars as Hoffman’s wife, Ellen, and Corey Stoll (House of Cards) plays an ambitious FBI agent named Benedict Tissa.

The Venice Film Festival begins August 29th, and Driven will screen on September 8th.
