Rain Volunteers with CoachArt!

This year, Rain had the opportunity to team up with an amazing program called CoachArt in order to give a little bit back to the community. On Monday, Dec. 16th, Rain joined White Memorial Medical Center’s Cleft Lip/Cleft Palate Holiday Party to help host the Arts & Crafts table. We assisted pediatric patients and their families to make snowman holiday ornaments and gingerbread house picture frames!

CoachArt is a non-profit organization offering free lessons in the arts and athletics to patients with chronic illnesses and their siblings, ages 6 – 18. They partner with talented volunteers and art and athletic programs to offer lessons in music, art, yoga, photography, dance, soccer — and more! CoachArt will find an experienced volunteer or a center offering lessons near you for approximately 12 weekly lessons. Students can continue their CoachArt sessions until they graduate from the program at age 18. They provide all necessary equipment for lessons — students don’t need to buy anything! CoachArt also provides many exciting opportunities to attend activities in the community including dance and theater performances, sports events and more.

The CoachArt staff and program directors were truley amazing in helping Rain find an opportunity to fit our company. We highly recommend CoachArt to any company looking for a volunteer opportunity or any individuals who what to share their creative abilitys with chidren in need!
