Katie Micay graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production. Growing up, she loved to recreate episodes of her favorite television shows, using her very loyal friends as the actors. Summers were spent at New York Film Academy, making movies in Los Angeles, Brooklyn and London. Her first, short film “For Love” has had more than three thousand hits on YouTube. Katie’s junior level film “Limited Engagement” played at the Los Angeles International Women’s Film Festival and the Women’s Independent Film Festival. She shot two thesis films (the only student to ever do so), “My So-Called Family” which played at the Bel Air Film Festival and “Flirt” which played at the Reality Bytes Film Festival. All while attending classes and completing eleven internships!
Katie is a member of the Junior Hollywood Radio and Television Society and an alumni member of Delta Delta Delta. Her diverse taste in television ranges from romantic drama and comedy, to murder mysteries.
When not in the office, you can often find Katie on the tennis court!
