Dalip joined Rain Management Group in 2009 as an assistant to Jonathan Baruch. Immediately taken with the company’s dynamic culture and opportunity for growth, he started scouting new and up-coming talent – efforts that landed the company a presence at Sundance Film Festival that same year. Dalip also spearheaded RMG’s initiative to be the first management company to use social networking and technology for its clients as a competitive advantage.
Since his promotion to manager, Dalip has maintained his focus to sign and partner with exceptional director, literary and talent clients. In addition to actively discovering young artists, he continues to work closely with Rain’s top Directors and Executive Producers.
After earning a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law at the age of 24, Dalip started his professional career as an attorney working for a boutique law firm in center city Philadelphia. With the ambition to work in entertainment growing by the day, Dalip relocated to Los Angeles and was introduced to Baruch through mutual industry friend and Executive Producer, Todd Ellis Kessler.
Dalip is also an alum of the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University. He lived a nomadic lifestyle as a child, and although able to call several cities his hometown – he chooses Chicago. He believes Back To The Future is the best movie of all time, and will passionately debate anyone who says otherwise.
