Be sure to tune in and set your DVR’s for all new series Crash and Bernstein, airing tonight at 8:30 pm on Disney XD. Crash is Executive Produced by RMG client Mike Larsen (Real Time w/ Bill Maher), and centers around Wyatt Bernstein, a boy desperately wishing for a brother he could do fun “dude” stuff with. Enter the ultimate wingman Crash, a puppet creation that comes to life fully equipped with ninja weapons, strong opinions, an attitude, and never ending energy.

RMG is pleased to announce that writer/director Jan Eliasberg has been accepted into the prestigious Fox Writer’s Intensive Program. Only ten writers were accepted out of 300 applicants.
The Intensive program is designed to introduce experienced writers with unique voices, backgrounds, life and professional experiences that reflect diverse perspectives to a wide range of Fox staff writers, showrunners, directors, screenwriters and creative executives. These collective individuals will work with the selected writers to build on both their general craft and the business of writing for television, feature films and digital content with an added goal of creating a viable resource of experienced staffing opportunities.

Don’t miss tonight’s special holiday EUREKA episode, written by RMG client Eric Tuchman. Featuring four different styles of animation, the episode airs on SyFy Channel at 8/7c. Eureka stars Colin Ferguson and Salli Richardson-Whitfield, centering around a remote town where people with the best scientific minds are tucked away to build futuristic inventions for the government’s benefit.
Tuchman previously Executive Produced ABC Family’s Kyle XY, and recently signed on as Consulting Producer for another hit SyFy series, ALPHAS.

We are pleased to announce that RMG client DAVID INGBER is premiering his live production, ZOMBIES ACTUALLY…AN UNDEAD MUSICAL, at the Margery Opera House for the New Orleans Fringe Festival. The comedic play follows Curtis, an outcast at a Texas high school, who reinvents himself when turned into a zombie.
David, who has performed his musical stand-up comedy all over the world, has also written for the sketch show ‘A Political Party!’ and ESPN’s ‘Mayne Street,’ co-wrote the musical comedy ‘God Loves My People Best’ and wrote and composed the award-winning ‘Fantasy Football: The Musical?’

RMG is pleased to announce that client JORDAN HAWLEY, with Carol Mendelsohn’s production company, has sold a pilot, THE HOLLOWS, to the CW. Mendelsohn (executive producer of the CSI Series, creator of CSI: NY, CSI: Miami), Julie Weitz (president of Mendelsohn Productions) and Hawley (writer and producer for Smallville and Wildfire) will executive produce, with Hawley writing as well.
The supernatural drama, based on The Hollows book series by Kim Harrison, centers on a witch who collaborates with local authorities in investigating both ordinary and otherworldly crimes.

We are pleased to announce that our client KAREN JANSZEN has sold a music-driven 1 hour drama pilot to ABC Studios/ABC called SOMEONE LIKE ME along with songwriting powerhouses Stephen Schwartz (Multi-Oscar, Golden Globe, and Grammy Award-winning lyricist/songwriter of Wicked, Godspell, Enchanted) and John Ondrasik (Multi-Platinum, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter, a/k/a Five for Fighting) and producer Richard B. Lewis (Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated producer of August Rush, Backdraft, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves).
The show explores the lives of two sisters, one a singer-songwriter legend, the other forever in her shadow, whose worlds collide as adults, sending their family and friends spinning—especially a 17-year-old girl whose own musical talents are exploding.
Karen has enjoyed great success throughout her career in the feature film world, having seven of her screenplays produced – including the recent No.1 box office hit DOLPHIN TALE for Warner Bros. / Alcon. Other credits include A Walk to Remember, Gracie, and Duma.
