Quddus Named Host of ABC Singing Competition ‘Duets’

RMG client Quddus will host ABC’s new unscripted series Duets, to premiere this summer.  The series features music superstars Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles, Lionel Richie, and Robin Thicke as they set out across the country looking for two undiscovered singers to be their duets partners.

Quddus, remembered by many for his time spent on MTV’s TRL, has also been a correspondent for Access Hollywood and hosted Nickelodeon’s Dance on Sunset.

Peter Macmanus Writes ‘Hurt People’ for GK-tv; William Peterson Attached to Star

Our client PETER MACMANUS has written Hurt People, a drama series for Graham King’s GK-tv set to star CSI alum William Peterson.  The project centers on Hollis Brown (Petersen), a veteran hitman employed by the crime family that killed his wife. Brown has been enlisted to hunt down his estranged daughter who is intent on destroying those responsible for her mother’s death.

Jan Eliasberg Selected for FOX Writers Program

RMG is pleased to announce that writer/director Jan Eliasberg has been accepted into the prestigious Fox Writer’s Intensive Program.  Only ten writers were accepted out of 300 applicants.

The Intensive program is designed to introduce experienced writers with unique voices, backgrounds, life and professional experiences that reflect diverse perspectives to a wide range of Fox staff writers, showrunners, directors, screenwriters and creative executives. These collective individuals will work with the selected writers to build on both their general craft and the business of writing for television, feature films and digital content with an added goal of creating a viable resource of experienced staffing opportunities.
